Continuation of the style set by La Grenouille absinthe. A garden of earthly delights. This time in Provence.
The inspiration for this absinthe came from the L’Fleur bar in Prague and their signature “Le Parfum” containing, among other things, jasmine. The cocktail gave us a compulsive idea – to distil it! Which happens to us quite often…
Thus La Fleur was born. An absinthe full of flowers.
Jasmine, lavender and verbena dominate. And of course the usual suspects – anise from Spain, fennel from Provence and wormwood from Pontarlier.
It is the flowers that make up most of the recipe. Both in fresh form and dried. Because of this, we are only able to distil it once a year, and in quite small quantities. In the first premium batch, there are 400 litres, 800 bottles.
The label was designed by the artists at Life is Porno and will go on sale for the first time in the spring of 2021.
