A reproduction of the world’s oldest absinthe recipe, created exactly 220 years after the first absinthe producer was created.
In 2018, two surviving bottles of the world’s first commercial absinthe producer, Dubied Peré et Fils, were discovered. One of the bottles ended up in a museum and the other was offered to a handful of absinthe aficionados.
This is the result that emerged from the tasting. A reproduction of the oldest absinthe recipe. Absinthe as it tasted in its early days.
The first edition existed in 220 litres. It sold out within two hours and triggered a wave of enthusiasm around the world.
The second was in 2020 and third one in 2022.
